Breathing Practices for Stress and Anxiety Reduction: Conceptual Framework of Implementation Guidelines Based on a Systematic Review of the Published Literature I participated in this landmark systematic review in collaboration with the Health and Human Performance Foundation on effective human-guided slow breathing interventions for anxiety and stress reduction. Published Nov. 2023 in a Special issue of Brain Science.
Grounding + Centering in Winter: This was a short 45-minute workshop combining ideas about diverse bodies and diverse self-care needs presented to a team via an origami hands-on experience. (November, 2023)

The Dying We Do: Somatic Grief Work Series. Somatic grief work recognizes that grief is not just an emotional experience but also a physical one that can be processed through the body. The class series used various techniques, such as breathwork, body scanning, and mindful movement, to help individuals restore physical habits that are changed by the doing of grief (2020).
The Complete Back: A one-day workshop was presented at the Spokane Yoga Shala. The Complete Back is a sequence using clinical Somatic Education. Somatics is a form of movement therapy developed by Thomas Hanna and Eleanor Criswell. It releases chronic muscular tension and pain through gentle movements and body awareness exercises (2018).

The Year of Mindfulness program: A comprehensive mindfulness training program that spans the course of a year. The program includes mindfulness exercises, meditations, and practices designed to help participants cultivate a greater sense of presence, self-awareness, and emotional balance. The Year of Mindfulness program participants learn to develop greater self-compassion, resilience, and emotional intelligence through mindfulness practice (2016).
