Each moment as it is unfolding is already a living breathing thing, and it can be approached by us through our whole self, or only through the mind.

Though we experience our mental activity distinct from our bodily activity, they are not.

It’s the old, “give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” axiom that lies behind this program. There are a lot of reasons why we seek to understand the secrets of being well, and how to be well inside when so many things are outside of our control. In this practicum you will immerse into the competencies, skills and psychology of coaching. It is about developing a new framework and way of being through applying those skills over time, in body and mind.


what.

The self-as-living practicum is a monthly program that can be customized around your lifestyle, your goals, and your needs. The curriculum is set up to be explored over nine months, however, you can take a month off if needed, and pick up where you left off. The program, thematically, is organized around 1:1 coaching, self-inquiry (e.g. journaling, habit pairing, immersion, incubation, while also working on a culminating creative synthesis), and learning mind-body and self-coaching skills.
